Every year in honor of University Day, Tar Heels across the globe roll up their sleeves and #ServeCarolina by serving the communities in which they live and work. This year the Greensboro Carolina Club, in partnership with Steel Hands Brewing, will be collecting items on behalf of the SPCA of the Triad. This project will span from Oct. 20th – Nov 12th with Steel Hands Brewing as the donation site during their regular hours of operation. Steel Hands is located at 1918 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC, on the corner of Gate City Blvd and Chapman St.
We are inviting all local alumni and friends to participate by dropping off much needed supplies and investing in the community by saving the life of a homeless cat or dog.
As a reminder, Steel Hands is the official UNC watch party venue so drop on by, watch the big game, and donate to this worthwhile organization. The current biggest needs for the SPCA are canned puppy food and adult dog food and there is always a need for 40 gallon trash bags, kitchen size trash bags, bleach, laundry soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and dawn dish soap.
