Tar Heel Service Day

Dear Alumni and Friends of Carolina!

We are excited to announce this year’s Tar Heel Service Day Project!

We will be working with Sedgefield’s assistant principal (a UNC alumna!) to spruce up the teacher lounge and workspace. In addition to your volunteer hours, we welcome donations for materials such as:

• Paint (interior)
• Paint materials (brushes, rollers)
• Posters (appropriate for a teacher lounge space)
• Flowers
• K-Cups (for a Keurig)
• Sugar Packets
• Small Snacks (cracker, granola bars, etc.)
• Magic Eraser
• Disinfecting Wipes

To complement the beautification project, we will also be accepting donations of essential items for children/parents at the school:

• Personal Hygiene Items (Travel/Small in Ziploc Bags or Containers)
  • Body Wash
  • Shampoo
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste
  • Mouthwash
  • Petroleum Jelly/Lotion
  • Lip Balm
  • Hair Brushes
  • Combs
  • Baby Wipes
• Clothing (Gently Used or New) (Children’s Sizes XS – XL and Adult XS-XL)
  • Unisex T-Shirts
  • Sweatshirts
  • Hoodies
  • Coats
  • Socks
  • Underwear for Boys & Girls (MUST BE NEW)
